Localized Dry Spot: The other major water-related problem for superintendents is the control and management of Localized Dry Spot.  These irregular areas of drought stressed turfgrass are caused by a buildup of water repellent deposits in the rootzone.  Caused by breakdown of organic matter in the thatch and organic layers and by the activity of fairy rings, Primera-Myst™ allows for disperstion of water and water containment in the stressed areas.
